ABOUT THE BLOGGER/AUTHOR:
Hi there everyone and welcome all to Hewy's Art and Comic Creations Official Blog! My name is Houston Long and I currently reside in Australia. I am known by many as a shy guy who is very calm,
friendly and easy to have conversations with (I know this sounds weird right?!).
Nickname-wise, everyone is used to calling me Hewy so feel free to call me by
that nickname whenever you feel like it! Now about my real life, as of now I am
currently a university student studying a postgraduate course at RMIT
University which could hopefully yield me a great career. However, besides my
study and real life goals, I also have a passion that I would love to share
with you all.
Ever since I was a child and until now I have always had a
strong passion for art (particularly manga artists) and animation and have full
respect for the people within those industries who work extremely hard to bring
together amazing works of art and story-telling. My biggest inspirations vast
far are the works of Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli) and of course the Harry
Potter series written and created by the legendary J.K. Rowling, there are of
course many others who have inspired me. And for that reason, I have a dream to
one day become a part of the animation or manga industry if I ever get the
opportunity.
Now with that being said, I have been working very hard on
my own manga during my spare time which I plan on officially uploading soon to
this blog page. I’m treating this as a hobby for now to see where this could
take me in the future. However, it would be awesome if you could show your
underlying love and support. The prologue for my manga will be released on the
25th of December 2015 so I hope you all look forward to that and
show your kind support. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this
very long introduction about me! :D
